Kyte Rites Noted. Saline Native Dies at 63
Raymond Kyte a former Saline resident aged 63 died Sunday at his home in Lima Township Michigan. He was born December 23 1894 in Saline son of Joseph and Sarah Kyte married Florence Schwab in Manchester and attended Saline High School. He was a World War I veteran survived by wife one son Raymond of Wolf Lake four daughters Rita Kyte Chelsea Virginia Sherman Lois Cantrell Coldwater Jeanette Kyte Los Angeles two sisters Mabel Foster Chelsea Luella Harwood Saline and nine grandchildren Funeral services were held at St Marys Catholic Church Chelsea with Rev Lee Laige officiating burial at Jerusalem Cemetery Lima Township Neighbors held a farewell party for Mr and Mrs Valentine Zink Monday evening Cards awarded prizes to attendees. Michigan State University educational television station praised by the Michigan Historical Society for its service.

Willing Workers Honor Past Presidents At Annual Dinner
The Willing Workers Club marked its 45th anniversary at a potluck dinner in Saline Township Hall with seven of thirteen past presidents in attendance. Leader Mrs. Waynard Carr welcomed guests as the group, rooted in 1913, recalled early sewing and Red Cross work, wartime aid, and recent acts including furnishing a hospital room and a $2,000 pledge.
