Michigan police to tighten roadblock system after cross border gunmen escape
The Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs and State Police plan a revised blockade system to improve coordination after two gunmen fled into Indiana after wounding a state trooper and killing another. One gunman died. the other faces Indiana first degree murder charges. A nine member committee will finalize details and revise as needed. Ohio and Indiana police also failed to stop the escape.
