Adelbert McCarbery died suddenly Monday noon at his home south of town. Born February 4, 1869 in Lenawee county, he leaves widow Flora and a daughter Mrs. D. L. Murray of Milan, three sons Roscoe Meta Scora, Charles and Leeland at home, sisters Mrs. Thomas Rissell, Mrs. Carrie Saal Tecumseh, Mrs. Mary Clark Ann Arbor, brother Ernest Detroit, and uncle Amos Vandevender Ridgeway. Funeral 2:30 this afternoon at the home with Rev. Co H Wittbracht officiating. Burial in Oakwood cemetery.

Death of Seven Year Old Norma Spencer in Lapeer
Norma Spencer aged seven died Sunday morning at the Michigan Home and Training School in Lapeer after a long illness. She was born August 4, 1925 in Hannibal Missouri and survived by her parents Clarence and Mrs Spencer and two brothers Richard Eugene and David Edward. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Dietiker funeral home with Rev Bertram officiating. Interment followed at Judd Cemetery south of town.
