Burkhardt died Monday night at home after years of poor health. funeral services were held at Dietiker funeral home and Trinity Lutheran church with burial in Oak Grove.

Saline Grange Holds May 3 Meeting at Mooreville Hall
Saline Grange No. 1831 met at Veterans hall in Mooreville on May 3 with the worthy master presiding. Bad Johnson was obligated in the third and fourth degrees by Andrew Campbell of Pittsfield Grange. Guests included Mr and Mrs Andrew Campbell and Mrs William Lindemann of Pittsfield Grange. Next meeting May 17 will be a card party with hosts Mr and Mrs Claude Gilbert and a moving picture show. Lecture hour featured a baseball quiz with captains Ernest Girpach and Clair Gilbert.
