A break-in at Westside Hardware near Saline is under investigation after entry between 1:15 and 1:45 a.m. Police say $29.00 was taken from the cash register and the thieves used a fence post and a car bumper to force the back door. No property recovered. investigation continues.

Saline Music Director Joins UMI Faculty This Fall
Saline Area Schools conductor Arthur Katterjohn will join the University of Michigan faculty this fall while continuing as Saline High School music director. The Michigan Youth Band will be renamed University of Michigan Youth Band and offered through the Extension Service with 15 rehearsals and two April concerts at Saline facilities.
