Saline High School Grants Diplomas To 48 Seniors
Saline High School awarded diplomas to forty eight seniors at the June 11 evening commencement in the gym. Speaker Dr Eugene B Elliot of Michigan State Normal College titled Why Education and urged continued training and progress amid technology. Superintendent Leo L Jensen was honored for thirty years of service. The program included salutatorians James Coury and Dean Fisher and valedictorian Delores Marion, with ten students named as honors.

Mother Has Second Set Of Twins In 21 Months
Mrs. Dorothy Cranson of Milan gave birth on Tuesday June 8 at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital to twins Theodore David and Carolyn Ann, a girl and a boy weighing eight pounds three ounces and six pounds. Their first twins Thomas and Judy, weighed seven pounds five ounces each. The Cransons also have children Danny six and Susan four.

Ordination Service at St. James Church in Saline Township
