A University glee club tour departs by university bus to Adrain Owosso and Sturgis for folk hymns and UM gongs. Chosen from 85 members, the group represents several university schools and colleges. Established 1885 the club has a long concert history.

Mrs Kittie Acton Bible 83 former Saline resident and wife of the late George Bible died Wednesday morning Jan 21 at the home of her daughter Mrs Charles Obee in Kansas City Kansas after a three year illness She was born December 17 1869 in York Township to Alfred and Katherine Drum Acton.
Mrs. Obee, widow of Mr Bi ble, moved to Saline after their Aug 21 1891 Indiana marriage. He died June 4 1924 in Saline. She later lived in Kansas City with her daughter. Survivors include two grandchildren two great grandchildren a brother Alfred Acton of York Township and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in Kansas City and graveside at Judd Cemetery south of Saline with Rev. Alvin Siemsen officiating.
