Funeral services for Phillip A. Dennison in Ypsilanti

Phillip A. Dennison dies at Beyer Memorial hospital after a six day illness. The 60 year old Milan born farmer lived east of Ypsilanti and died Saturday. Survived by two sons Joseph and William both of Ypsilanti, four sisters and three half-brothers. Burial at Marble Park Cemetery Milan. Services conducted by Rev. Hugo Fenker.

The Saline branch of the Michigan Milk Producers Association held its annual meeting at Sonic Hall on Friday evening. A supper of dairy products served 325 to 350 guests. Detroit speakers included Mr Simmons and Mr Pickford. Officers elected: President Clarence Carr, Vice President Sebastian Feinkner, Secretary and Treasurer Jesse Bird.

Obituary of Isaac C Shaw Pioneer Resident Dies at 97

Isaac Clark Shaw age nearly five score died at Nicolas Senn Hospital in Omaha after 27 years in Nebraska. Born 1838 on the Christian Cook farm, oldest of seven, he married Elizabeth Wood in 1869. Survived by son Clifford R Shaw, daughters Ida Wood and Mable Eliza, a brother, four grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral held at Federated church with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

Water loo project manager outlines Waterloo park plans

C D Platt, manager of the Water loo Federal park project, spoke to the Kiwanis on Monday about the development aims. He described the project as a demonstration venture not a state park, emphasizing playground use and supervised youth recreation with campsite leases to charitable groups. About 400 men work on construction and campsite grading, with several site applications on file.
