Funeral services for Sarah Louise Gosmer Kader

Sarah Louise Gosmer Kader died February 19 1954 at her Norvell home after a long invalid period. Born September 20 1870 in Bridgewater she married Geoffrey Kader February 18 1890 and died on her 64th wedding anniversary. She was 83. She lived much of her life in Norvell belonged to Seventh Day Adventist Church of Jackson. Funeral at Weatherby Funeral Home Jackson officiated by Rev S B Newmeyer and burial at Norvell Cemetery. Survivors include husband a daughter Grace Van Lok en of Norvell a son Leo of Jackson and Loys of Pontiac a grandson Dr Robert Kader of Lansing and two great grandsons of Lansing.

The Child Study Club met February 16 at Mrs. Arthur Hagen's home with a panel of high school reps discussing teen issues. They urged a separate youth canteen with adult guidance and pledged to locate a site and help finance it. Fulbright Scholar to Speak at St. Pauls Youth Fellowship

Peter Kalinke, Fulbright Scholar at the University of Michigan, will address St. Pauls Church Youth Fellowship Sunday at 6 pm. He served as a Nazi war correspondent in 1945, was captured by the Soviets, spent five years in camps, studied in Germany, and later worked with the State Department before arriving in the United States in 1953.
