Mrs Helen Frances Staib wife of Vincent Staib of Detroit died Sunday in Lincoln hospital Detroit from cardio renal disease. She was born April 22 1886 in Bridgewater township daughter of Joseph and Francis Kress and is survived by her husband sister Mrs Julia Dace of Detroit and four brothers Alfred Battle Creek John Detroit Edward Fern Dale and Andrew Bridgewater. Funeral held 10 AM Tuesday at St Marys Church Manchester with Rev W Pfeffer officiating burial in St Marys Cemetery.

During the 25th Jubilee Year ending February 7, Scouting introduced Senior Scouting for older youths and expanded Sea Scouts with over 29 000 members. Mrs Rosine Roth Bearline Meyer died last Wednesday at her home in Lodi township. Born May 18 1867 in Stuttgart Germany she came to the United States at age 12. Survived by husband five daughters M Maurer J Haeussier O Heaeussier R Hieber and Mabel at home two sisters Adora Feuerbacher and Grace Hack and 16 grandchildren. A daughter Katherine died in 1915. Funeral held 130 pm at home and 2 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev Adolf Lederer officiating. Interment in Lodi cemetery.
