Zahn is in partnership with his father on a farm on Macon road. The engagement was revealed at Mrs. E. B. Jantz’s Milford Christmas party. No wedding date set.

Methodist Church Service Details and Youth Program

Gottlieb Weller 64 of Bridgewater township fell from a hay stack on Thursday noon and broke his neck. He lived on the farm with his brother Read and left two sisters Mrs. Mary Schill and Mrs. Anne Krol. Funeral held Sunday at Lockward Funeral Home with mausoleum interment in Oakwood.

Improved 1944 Farm Machinery Outlook From WPB Forecast

The War Production Board anticipates a stronger year for farm machinery in 1944 with raw materials authorized to nearly double 1943 output. Planting tillage and harvesting equipment will rise toward about 80 percent of the prewar year’s production, signaling a robust supply plan.
