W.S.C.S. Activities and Local Social Visits Highlight Week
Mrs Elenore of the W.S.C.S. accompanied Mrs Baxter to the altar while Mrs Hollowell presented. The Missionary Society member Baxter attended Sunday worship for years. An impromptu breakfast at Mrs Davis’s raised around $20 for the treasury. Florida visitors Carroll Lee and family spent a week in Detroit. Lee hunted a 10 point buck in the upper peninsula. Several families, travels and hunts are noted, along with a brush party hosted by Mrs Arthur Crawford and the Linicoin school Thanksgiving play. Benjamin Austin Whittaker visited with relatives. Dietrichs hosted guests including Clifton Gilbert Willis and Carl Moore family.
