Old Resident Summoned Friday
Jacob Visel longtime Saline resident died Friday after a long illness at his home. Born in Germany August 4 1865 he married Caroline Hertler March 28 1889 and lived on a York township farm before moving to Saline. Survived by wife four daughters three sons two sisters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral at Lockwood funeral home then St Pauls church with Rev Wittbracht officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

Born in Rhodes Michigan September 12 1907 he had lived here five years and worked at the bomber plant previously at Saline Valley Farms. Survived by wife Mary father William of Sanilac County four brothers and six sisters. Funeral 9 o clock Monday from Estey to Rhodes cemetery for interment.
