Rain reduced attendance but spirited members prepared for new faces and state funds for F F A district programs. The Washtenaw County FairAug 28 toSept 1will devote the 4-H building to F F A as exhibitors plan larger displays with premiums from 25 cents to 10 dollars.

Thomas I Ludwig dies after yearlong illness
Thomas I Ludwig of 1605 Judd Road York township died Monday night at home after a yearlong illness. Born November 11, 1848 in Fremont Ohio he moved from Detroit to York township in 1937. He held patents on farm implements. Survived by three daughters Bessie Shull Flora Thomas and Annette Shibly and siblings. Services and interment were in Fremont.

Prof R D Gross of Delaware Ohio showcased the micro-projector at the Rotary meeting on August 10.
