Pruner Brown Nuptials in Saline Church

Thelma Belle Brown formerly of Saline and William J Fruner of Ann Arbor were married in a Saturday ceremony at the Saline Methodist church. The service featured palm bouquets, a solo by Mrs Paul Pearson and an organist Dale Fosdick. The couple plans a brief Chicago honeymoon and will reside at 801 Pauline Blvd Ann Arbor.

Prominent Farmer Died On Saturday in Saline Township

Joseph Schaible aged 68 died Saturday afternoon at his Manchester road home from heart trouble. Born February 26, 1874 in Saline Township, he long served as treasurer of Union school district. He married Katherine Hack in 1898 and is survived by his wife, two daughters Esther Noble and Alma Thearer, a son Willard, two brothers George and Martin, and two grandchildren. Visitation at 2 pm Wednesday followed by funeral at St John’s Lutheran Church Bridgewater at 2:30 pm, Rev M C Phillip officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery Saline.
