Restored Me 108 Taifun joins three surviving German warbirds

In Alamogordo a restored Messerschmitt Me 108 Taifun sits in a hangar near the F 117A Nighthawk. One of only three known survivors, the four seater toured Zurich and prewar events, with restorers Hoch and Diehl detailing the aircraft’s VIP fittings, German engineering, and long comeback from derelict status.

Means names running mate in New Mexico bid
