New Mexico officials led by Lt. Gov. Mike Runnels withdrew 41 million dollars from Moncor Bank in Hobbs as a prudent move amid bank troubles. The funds, including 16 million from the severance tax fund and about 25 million from the general fund, were moved via wire to the First National Bank in Albuquerque.
