Mr and Mrs Metre Hrub of Alta accompanied by Mr and Mrs John Crushke visited with relatives and friends. Space constraints force carrying over several articles. Mrs Sam Silewich visited last week with her daughters Julian and Alice in Winnipeg.
The Village of Rossburn will receive tenders for gravelling village streets until 5 pm on Tuesday October 15 1963. Applicants must state price per yard per mile for loading and hauling and include gravel price if possible. Tenders marked Tender to be in the Village Office by the stated time. Clarence Lazaruk and Jerry Stupinsky from Winnipeg visited their parents. Mrs Sam Silewich spent Tuesday in Brandon with Mrs M Sion, Mrs S Maydaniuk, Mrs Shust and Mrs J Charney. Mr and Mrs N Locke spent Tuesday in Brandon. Mr and Mrs H Comba and son of Minnedosa visited Sunday. Mrs N Chopp and Lesia of Winnipeg were weekend visitors. Chopp teaches in North Springfield M D and Lesia attends United College in third year Arts.
Mr and Mrs Andrew Belin announce the engagement of their daughter Shirley Jean to Robert Angus son of Mr and Mrs Les Hamilton Vista Man The marriage is set for Saturday November 2 1963 at 3 30 PM at Vista United Church Mrs Mary Saley secretary treasurer
