Ukrainian Praznik at Sandy Lake honors community ties
Mrs. Neil Hrytsak and Mrs. Mae Chwaluk drove to Sandy Lake for the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church Praznik. After Divine Liturgy and Blessing of the Water, Reverend Skrumeda welcomed attendees at the Ukrainian National Home and led greetings from area congregations. Attendees discussed Bandurist choir efforts, youth leadership gaps, and upcoming religious studies in Oakburn, with seminars noted in Brandon.
