Outstanding Sr Music Student Denny Rozeboom
Denny Rozeboom son of Mr and Mrs Henry Rozeboom received the Outstanding Senior Musician Award Wednesday. Ten seniors were eligible this year from chorus glee and band who attended Stall group contest three years. Students voted by their peers, and the winner's name and year will be engraved on a plaque that will hold about eighteen names.

John Smith Cash Awards Honor Two Local Seniors
Evelyn Rafschau and Jerry Abra were honored at the Awards Assembly last week Wednesday with the John Smith Cash Awards. Each recipient received twenty five dollars as the annual prize for a deserving senior boy and girl, chosen by a faculty committee led by Mr Stahr.

Seniors Adventure Day Trip to Minneapolis from Rock Valley
A senior class excursion describes leaving Rock Valley at 4 30 on May 17 with minor bus changes and many activities en route. The group stopped in Mankato for breakfast, toured observation decks at the Minneapolis airport after paying a dime, viewed Ford plants and the grain exchange, enjoyed a smorgasbord at Sweden House, and ended with a police-guided tour of St. Louis Park Headquarters after a mistaken show time.

Bus delay marred return trip for seniors
By 10 36 the bus missed the ride home while a hotel call promised arrival. Police gathered to escort the group from Minneapolis after delays with drivers. They stopped for lunch in Mankato at 1 30 before continuing home.
