Daughters Escape Serious Injury In Town Car Crash
Three daughters of Mr and Mrs Junior Kooima escaped serious injury Monday when their car was hit after stopping at Highway 18 and Main Street. Linda Kooima failed to yield and the Rambler received about 209 dollars in damage. The four year old sister was uninjured but bruised, with hospital treatment at Hega Memorial.

Two Car Collision in Rock Valley Leaves No Injuries

Arsonist Strikes Another Area Barn
A barn at Edwin Van Veldhuizen farm on Hiway 75 east of town burned after a deliberate blaze. The arsonist moved a tractor and left a cow and calf outside before igniting the barn, part of a month of fires.
