Suspect Stopped for Speeding Named as Gas Station Robber
The suspect, Malecky, was identified by Carl E. Swanson as the man who forced the attendant into the washroom with a gun and stole cash from the station. Swanson also identified the suspect's convertible as the getaway car. Malecky was booked at Thalton police station on armed robbery charges. Bond set at 1,000 cash or 2,000 real estate. Court date set for Nov 7.

Riverdale pumping station test run OK'd by officials engineers
Wesley J. Gallup resident engineer of Consoer Townsend and Associates says the Riverdale pumping station will be completed in one month. A sluicegate hoist safety check remains, with some finishing and ground excavation needed from the sluicegate to the river. Village officials and others witnessed the test.
