Postal Employees Receive Superior Service Awards
Postmaster Carl A. Schroeder presented Superior Accomplishment Award pins to three Riverdale Branch Post Office employees in Chicago Illinois. Recipients were John D. Rosie James T. Smith and Raymond A. Ralson for exemplary service and devotion to duty. Raymond Reducka of Chicago was reported in fair condition after two heart attacks at an Oklahoma gas station.

Dolton Inhalator Responds to Four Calls
The Dolton inhalator squad responded to four calls during the past week. Theodosia Siwin ski, 28, of 1b240 Avalon, received oxygen Tuesday July 13 at 6 35 p.m. Pearl Hippman, 525 Washington St., had chest pains and trouble breathing Thursday July 14 at 1 45 p.m. Removed to St Francis Hospital by ambulance after 15 minutes of oxygen. Mrs E McDonald, 14327 Ellis, suffered breathing difficulties Saturday July 16 at 4 27 p.m. Oxygen given 15 minutes to revive her. Marguerite Disbrow, 14321 Dodson, received oxygen for 33 minutes Monday July 18 at 10 45 a.m. for acute heart failure and was moved to Woodlawn Hospital.

Electric Wire Falls on Car at Riverdale Restaurant
The POINTERS live wire salesman Carl Nolte left Fred's Restaurant in Riverdale after a Chamber of Commerce meeting when a live electrical wire draped across his car. The wire came from a pole to an adjacent house. Public Service Company responded and he was taken home after oxygen treatment and hospital transport.
