Rotary seeks sponsors for Rio Rancho tutoring program expansion

Rotary Club of Rio Rancho appeals for business partners and donors to fund the next school year's tutoring program. Last year 2 percent of 36 students improved a grade in reading. This year four students participate across Colinas del Norte Sandia Vista and Rio Rancho elementary schools. The program targets first through third graders nearing proficiency to prevent disengagement as reading becomes a tool after third grade.
