Rio Rancho Charter Review Committee Meets Monthly at City Hall
The City of Rio Rancho Charter Review Committee meets on the second and fourth Thursdays at 6 pm in City Hall. The panel aims to review the charter every five years and will submit recommendations to the governing body by July 27. If approved, amendments go to voters in the March 1, 2016 municipal election. Members include Atarpe Dave Heil, Jim Owen, Ronan Gilmore, Jakki Swicegrood, Marlene Feuer, Sal Maniact o, and Gregg Hartz. The committee term ends November 30. Dual credit program eyed for Rio Rancho high schools

Lawmaker pushes GRT cut to 2 percent for New Mexico
