Stand-up Comedy Night at Santa Ana Star Stage Hosts Three Comics

Santa Ana Star Casino welcomes Dan Davidson Matt Monroe and Mary Byrd for Stand-up Comedy Thursdays. Davidson began after a Tonight Show inspired pursuit at 14 and has performed for over four thousand audiences globally. Monroe, a Denver computer nerd by day, headlines clubs and festivals including 10,000 Laughs and Out of Bounds. Byrd, Albuquerque based, started in 2004 and riffs on politics and daily ironies. Doors open 6:30 p.m. with show at 7:30.

David & Co Jazz Night at Lounge 54 Returns Tonight

R and B crooners led by David Nufiez perform at Lounge 54 tonight and Saturday at 9 pm. Nufiez brings over four decades in music, boosted by tours with B.B. King Chicago and The Neville Brothers. Koala Records signed the group in 1976. vinyl sales surpassed 80 000. Admission is free and guests must be 21 or older.

Fourth of July Parade Steps Off at 10 AM

The Independence Day parade will start at 10 a.m. on July 4, traveling east from Country Club Drive along Southern Boulevard and ending on Pinetree Road near Esther Bone Memorial Library and Veterans Monument Park. United States National Roller Skating Championships come to Albuquerque

USA Roller Sports brings the United States National Championships to the Albuquerque Convention Center July 11 through August 1 with over 2,000 skaters competing in speed rink hockey and figure skating. Rink hockey runs July 11 17, speed July 11 18, figure July 19 August 1. Tickets $10 one day to $70 multi day. discounts available. Tradeshow, Hall of Fame and Honors receptions accompany the event.
