Creator Ariana Olivares Moorman, a UNM West student and single mother, designed the booklet as a home read for families, linking child activities with critical health information.

May 28 Exhibit Honors Sandoval County Veterans

Exhibit opening drew veterans officials and families with Boy Scout Troop 703 and the Sibley Brigade Civil War actors posting the color guard. The Navajo language anthem and Keres prayer by tribal elder Joe Bird opened the ceremony. The Black Eagle Drum Group performed, and organizers worked to include all Sandoval County veterans, documenting 12 veterans daily for 18 months and collecting about three photos per day.
