Montoya and Sapien win Sandoval primary battles

Police ID teen in alleged burglary shooting

Rio Rancho police identified 15 year old Shaquan Ketcham of Albuquerque as the armed teen intruder shot by a home owner during an alleged burglary in Cabezon early Wednesday. Ketcham was in critical condition at a local hospital. he faces an aggravated burglary charge per a Rio Rancho PD release. The dispatch center received the 2 a.m. call.

Erin Hagenow named interim executive director of Rio Rancho chamber

Erin Hagenow was appointed interim executive director of the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce as Debbi Moore departs after 14 years as president and CEO. The nine member search committee will seek a permanent leader while Hagenow guides the chamber representing Sandoval County communities and Albuquerque’s West Side, with résumés due until filled at rrrec.org.
