Sandoval County to refinance bonds for firefighter fleet

The Sandoval County Commission voted to refinance 2.1 million of a 5 million bond issue from 2005 to fund equipment and infrastructure for the Sandoval County Fire Department. The move is expected to save about 100000 over five years. Proceeds funded three fire trucks from Artesia and three ambulances, plus a Santa Ana Pueblo fire station.
