Police Trading Card Drive Aims To Connect With Kids
Officers will hand out trading cards to children who request them during patrols. The first child with six cards wins a $50 gift card, and the first with twelve earns a $100 gift card plus a department tour. The Boys & Girls Club of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque call it a chance to build positive ties with youth. The club has served 2,700+ at-risk youngsters since 1952, with 70 percent from low‑income families and 75 percent in single‑parent homes. Call 881-077 or visit bgecnm.org for details.
