Rio Rancho Considers Recycled Water Rate Change
The governing body will review an ordinance to adjust the recycled water rate. The utilities commission recommends 38 percent of the potable irrigation fee, while staff prefer 20 to 25 percent. Current users include Club Rio Rancho golf course, Vista Verde Memorial Park Cemetery, and the city. Three options are 38 percent, lower, or no change from 60 percent in 2016 and 70 percent in 2017.
