Santa Ana hosts The Grave a soulful two member band led by Ron Crowder and Steve O'Neill at Lounge 54 with keyboards and drums. The free all ages shows include banter between songs and begin at 9 p m with 21plus admission. Garlic queen returns to defend title at Stinking Rose Fest

Debbie Coston, Rio Rancho resident and defending champion of the Stinking Rose Garlic Fest, faces a field of entrants in a no‑entry‑fee, breath‑mint trophy event at Idalia Road Marketplace. Contestants eat increasingly hotter garlic cloves until one remains, with Coston aiming for a repeat victory and the “You Stink” trophy.

A schedule of craft and music programs across New Mexico venues. Origami at Esther Bone Memorial Library led by Sue Hanauer requires registration. Coronado Historic Site offers a coloring workshop. Shawn Madden headlines performances at High Desert Center for Spiritual Living and New Thought Center with a vocal workshop following services.
