Rio Rancho police close non fatal shooting case

Police closed a non fatal shooting case after a man refused to press charges. On December 18, 2014, officers responded to Oakmount Drive where a woman said her husband shot their 29 year old son who had attacked her. The son was air lifted with an abdomen wound and later spoke with investigators on June 17 after recovery.
