Knockerball Debuts With 11 Teams In Rio Rancho Event

Observer staff writer Gary Herron reports a new sport called Knockerball rolling through. At Haynes Park Sunday is Friday, Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull issued an open challenge, and 11 teams signed up for a soccer like elimination tournament. Each squad has four players on the field with two teams competing in 10 minute games to move an oversized soccer ball toward victory.
