Rio Rancho police charged 23 year old Tifany Gonzales with child neglect after officers found a 15 year old girl and 17 year old brother home alone in a home on Hollyberry Drive. The house smelled of marijuana and alcohol with trash and dog feces present. The teens said their father was in prison and their mother had died the year before. They lacked food and a phone, and Gonzales arrived hours later with a friend and without her infant. CYFD placed the siblings with their aunt amid prior issues.
