Equestrian fund raiser nets 1500 for St Jude
Samantha Taylor of Canyon Ranch near Fayetteville led a small turnout for a one day St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital fundraiser. Six riders covered 14 miles and raised about 1500 in pledges, with five equestrians from Charleston area also attending. Taylor said next year’s event will be held again and noted the ranch offers riders access to nearby lands for horseback rides with care for the animals.
