The New River Livestock Market sold 200 head Wednesday for $25,961. Minor L. Scott said 72 consignors and 65 buyers participated. Prices ranged across cattle, calves, hogs, goats, poultry, and other livestock with notable bids for cows, heifers, steers, veal, and feeders. A special fall roundup sale is planned for next Wednesday.
