Brother Pleads Guilty in Raleigh County Shooting Case

Theodore Anderson, 29, of Lester, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his 18 year old brother Calvin S. Anderson. He was arraigned before Judge C Berkley Lilly and ordered to return for sentencing November 6. Other trials set include five murder indictments and cases for Cottle, Hoover, Justice, Lusk, and Burrell with dates ranging from October 24 to November 21.

United Press International reports Louis Harris poll shows Nixon at 60 percent to 33 percent for McGovern among 1,585 voters. Nixon leads by 27 points, similar to September results.
