Three Atlanta visitors urged Beckley to study a modified market plan similar to Atlanta as the state Legislature must pass a marketing system law before a Beckley market can be created. A ceremony post Grandview road completion was approved to aid park acreage, with plans to honor figures like MacArthur. The group also discussed funding for uniforms for the Woodrow Wilson High School Band and estate bequests to Margarita Cappellari and others.
