Mesalands Partners With Granite for Wind Tech Training
Granite Services International, affiliated with General Electric, runs new-hire wind energy trainings at Mesalands Community College. The three year partnership expands use of Mesalands Wind Center, housing a 1.5 megawatt turbine and trailers with equipment. Kenneth Brennan notes seven sessions this year average ten students per class. two more are planned. Next year expects 60-80 students to complete training.
