Used His Head Not Brakes Salmon
Joe Baker, night driver of the Wasatch Oil company tanker and trailer, rolled into town after discovering the right rear dual tires were on fire. Above those tires were 6,800 gallons of explosive gasoline. He did not stop to fight the fire but drove to the fire department where Night Officer Ben Mund put out the blaze. Mr. and Mrs. Art Cohenour of Salt Lake City were weekend guests at Mrs. Cohenour's parents home and returned to Salt Lake to resume university studies.
