Consistency in Gubernatorial and Senate Endorsements Debate
The Preston Citizen letters page attacks the editorial stance urging Wright for governor while endorsing Burtenshaw for the U.S. Senate, arguing Burtenshaw relies on labor lobbyists and lacks sufficient experience. It contrasts Wright’s clerical background with Jordan’s extensive multi-field experience and asks voters to compare qualifications before voting. The writer, I. H. Nash, urges scrutiny of endorsements and experience.
