Preston voters urged to approve city bonds for utilities
The Preston city notice calls a July 27 special election to issue 30 000 for sewerage, 15 000 for waterworks, 4 000 for fire department, and 10 000 for streets. It argues growth outpaces facilities and asks taxpayers to study the proposals and decide if debt is worth needed improvements.
