The Preston Idaho parade plans a 9 am ball park formation with a patriotic meeting at 11 am. Fron tline events include greased-pole climbs for kids, a baby crawl, fat- and big-man races, foot races, and a 100-yard softball game. Prizes of 25, 15, and 10 dollars, plus a nickel for each marcher, anchor a full afternoon of events. Gwen D Nash 32 mother of four died Friday afternoon after a malignant illness. LDS services conducted by Bishop Raymond Hobbs at the Linrose ward chapel followed by a home prayer. A funeral at Franklin Cemetery featured organist Emma Bingham and piano by Mrs Nash with choir and speakers including Bishop Hobbs and Weldon Nash.
