Local social notes span hostesses and clubs in early summer

Ladies in the community hosted and attended a string of gatherings. Mrs. Earl Nelson led a card afternoon at Mrs. Harris Nelson’s North Main Street home with pink and white decor and a high score prize won by Mrs. Knudson. Other events include a Peek at the Cookers Club formed by two young girls, a Ninety-minute bridge session at Mrs Myers, and a Nash sisters birthday dinner hosted by Mrs Frank Olsen and Mrs Charles Olsen with peony centerpieces. The piece also notes a local family trip, a brunch honoring the Martins, and a John Sant reunion planned at Grace School.
