Expanded to a third series, the new Chevrolet lineup features redesigned 1953 bodies, increased power, and a refined powertrain with a new engine and improved automatic transmission. The public debut occurs in Preston at Cranney Chevrolet Co tomorrow.
An entirely new Chevrolet series the Bel Air debuts as the most luxurious Chevrolets yet. Other passenger lines include Two-Ten and One-Fifty. A 116 horsepower Blue Flame engine and refined Powerglide transmission promise greater economy and quicker pickup. The standard 20cell engine rises to 108 horsepower a 17.4 percent gain. The Preston showroom advertises the greatest showing of new automobiles in years if not ever.
