Landscaping discussion at Variety Club hosts and guests
Mrs Marion Morgan and Mrs Fart cohosted a Variety Club evening at the Morgan home with slides by Jack Hickenlooper on landscaping problems. Valentine treats and cookies were served to attendees including Jeanette McEntire and Laura Esplin among others. A double foursome of bridge followed with a salad luncheon for the ladies and awards for high score and bingo.

Fine Arts Club Birthday Party Echoes Zodiac Theme
The Fine Arts Club celebrated its annual birthday party Monday at Mrs. Clifford Forsgren’s home. Mrs. Earl Hollingsworth chaired the social committee with Mrs. Theron Sealey Mrs. Glen Gambles and Mrs. Clifford Forsgren. Toastmistress Mrs. Dan Roberts led the evening as members arrived in costume. Games and prizes followed a two course dinner served on tables with Zodiac motifs and birthstone rings. Carnations added festive décor.

Legion Auxiliary Meets Monday at Hall Home
Members of the American Legion auxiliary met Monday evening at Mrs. Howard Hall’s home. President Clara Auger led the session. Casey Bergquist reported on the monthly topic Americanism. A potluck lunch for 20 members was served by Roma Hymas, Deane Auger, Jean Bowden and Clara Auger. Each member received a Valentine Savior crafted by the junior auxiliary.

Lions Club Sweetheart Dance at Franklin Stakehouse
