The Polk County Historical Society held its annual banquet and officer elections at City Cafe in Osceola with 41 members present. Guest speaker was Wesley Huenefeld of Hamilton County Historical Society. Eli Larson performed musical numbers. Officers elected: Mildred Flodman president, John Falk vice president, Philip Nyberg treasurer, Esther Fellows secretary. Next meeting is Oct 20 at the REA building in Stromsburg for the winning-picture guests.
