Ak-Sar-Ben prepares for the largest 4-H calf show as entries surge from Nebraska and Iowa. The event opens Sunday October 23 and runs all week with a $20 000 premium fund and new entertainment features including an ice skating review and Elmer Gantry the blind jumping horse. Anderson Hirschi Couple Wed in Morse Bluffs Nebraska
Miss Pearl Anderson daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Anderson of Osceola and Hirsch son of Mr and Mrs J L Hirsch of Stromsburg were married at Morse Bluffs Nebraska on Friday September 16. The ceremony was at 7 45 p m at the home of the bride’s relatives Rev Weery officiated. Attendants were Miss Vivian Hines and Irvin Hines. The bride wore an all lace gown with wine accessories and carried asters and zinnias. The bride is Osceola High School class of 35 graduate and has lived with her parents since. The groom attended Stromsburg schools and works at Stromsburg Flour Mills. The couple left for a short wedding trip to Wahoo and Prague and will live in Stromsburg.
