Regulations Set Up For Wheat Growers
The department of Agriculture amends 1954 winter wheat provisions to allow excess acreage in the wind erosion area to be seeded for use as green manure cover crop and hay. Such acreage must be tilled before May 1 1954 and the crop pastured turned under or cut while green. County committee approval is required to seed beyond the wheat allotment and fields must be designated.
